Ecycle Event

Rainier Community Center together with InterConnection will be accepting used computers, monitors, TVs and other electronic materials during a one day Ecycle Event.

Electronic waste is harmful to the environment.  These items are no longer allowed in the landfills.  The Ecycle event provides the public with an opportunity to properly and easily dispose of their electronic waste. 

Proceeds from the event go to Rainier Community Center.  Newer computers will support InterConnection’s efforts to provide computer and Internet training to underserved communities throughout the world.

All donations of working computers and monitors are tax deductible.

What to Bring: Computers, Monitors and TVs

ECYCLE FEES
·         $5.00 for all computers (working or not)
·         $10.00 for all monitors and laptops
·         $5.00 for all printers, scanners and other peripherals under 15 pounds.  35 cents per pound after 15 pounds.
·         $25.00 for all TVs up to 27" add $1.00 per inch over 27”
·         $60.00 for wooden TV consoles

NO CHARGE for small speakers, keyboards, mice, power cables and wires

NOT ACCEPTED

  • Cardboard or Styrofoam (These items can be recycled or disposed of through your residential service)

  • VCR's, microwaves, stereo equipment or any other household appliances.

  • UPS (battery backups)
